AUTOMATION FOR BAKERY — Trusted since 1972
Automation & Technology

See Your Entire Line. In Real Time.

LeMatic Information Network (LIN) connects every machine on your bakery line into a single live dashboard — throughput, downtime, quality events, and OEE — updated every second, from any device.

Live OEE data from every machine, every shift

Why LIN

What you can't see is costing you more than you think.

Built for bakery operations — not a generic industrial IoT platform.

01

No Visibility Into What Each Line Is Actually Doing

OEE numbers reported on paper or end-of-shift are already too late. LIN delivers live throughput, downtime, and reject data from every machine on every line — updated every second.

02

Downtime Cause Codes Are Always Wrong

When operators manually log downtime reasons, data is delayed, incomplete, or rationalized after the fact. LIN captures the exact timestamp, machine state, and fault code automatically at the moment of stoppage.

03

Quality Events Aren't Linked to Production Conditions

A rejection spike means nothing without knowing the blade temperature, line speed, and operator at the time. LIN correlates quality events to process variables so you can find root causes, not just symptoms.

04

Every Machine Speaks a Different Protocol

Your slicer, bagger, and labeler may come from three different manufacturers with three different control systems. LIN normalizes data from all of them into a single dashboard via native I/O, EtherNet/IP, and OPC-UA.

From the Field

What LIN customers say.

We found 40 minutes of hidden downtime per shift that nobody was logging. LIN paid for itself in three weeks just from that discovery alone.

Our maintenance team now gets to a failing motor before it stops the line. The trend alerts in LIN Pro have cut our unplanned downtime by 60%.

Works With Everything

Your line. Your protocols. One dashboard.

LIN connects to every machine on your line via native protocols — no middleware, no custom integration work, no consultants. If the machine has a control system, LIN can read it.

  • LeMatic LX-series slicers — native integration
  • Third-party equipment via I/O module
  • Allen-Bradley / Rockwell EtherNet/IP
  • Siemens S7 via PROFINET
  • OPC-UA for any standards-compliant PLC
  • SAP, Oracle, and custom MES via API
Common Questions

What bakeries ask about LIN.

Does LIN require replacing existing control systems?

No. LIN connects to your existing PLCs and HMIs via EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, and OPC-UA. No rip-and-replace required — LIN reads data from what you already have.

How long does installation take?

A single-line LIN Starter installation takes less than one shift. Multi-line Pro deployments typically require 1–2 days of commissioning, depending on the number and type of machines.

Can LIN connect to non-LeMatic equipment?

Yes. LIN Pro and Enterprise support third-party equipment via I/O modules and standard industrial protocols. We have pre-built profiles for the most common bakery equipment manufacturers.

Where is the data stored?

LIN stores data locally on an industrial edge server at your facility. Cloud sync to your MES or a LeMatic-hosted dashboard is available optionally — your data never leaves your control without your permission.

Ready to see what your line is really doing?

Our team will map your current equipment and show you exactly what LIN would surface — live OEE, hidden downtime, and quality trends — before you commit.
